Hannah heard the harp on the radio when she was 4 and has loved it ever since. She was trained classically in both harp and piano while growing up and received her bachelor's degree in music business from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. She went on to acquire her masters in music from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in Glasgow, Scotland.
She studied under Pamela Bruner, Elinor Neimisto, Jann Stein, and Corrina Hewatt and has had additional instruction from Heather Downie, Wendy Stewart, Dr. Alfredo Rolando Ortiz, Lynne Aspnes, Nicolas Carter, Jen Narkevicius, and Ailie Robertson among others.
She has been teaching and performing professionally with the harp and piano - and more recently with voice - for the last 14 years; those performances include concerts, weddings, funerals, galas, house concerts, church music, cafes and open mics, duos and instrumental groups, traditional music sessions and more.
Hannah's favorite music-sharing venues are house concerts...you should ask her about them! She is currently pursuing her certification as a clinical musician as well as getting to know bluegrass and old-time music since her relocation to the mountains of North Carolina.
